Venue for the 5th Africa Dialogue Platform
We will be meeting at the ICPAC headquarters in Ngong, Kenya. Please note that this is a little way outside of Nairobi.

Hotel
We have reserved rooms for participants at the KCB Center. The rate for a room, including breakfast, is 5,470 Kenyan shillings (approx. 50 USD).

If you have not already informed us that you will be staying there, please contact the hotel directly and book your room, stating that you are attending the Africa Dialogue Platform. You can contact them by phone or by email.

Travel from the hotel to the venue
Free shuttle buses will be provided between the KCB Center and ICPAC headquarters on each day of the event.

Travel from the airport to the hotel
We have arranged for Express Taxi Services to provide airport transfers. You can book your taxi directly with George Kiarie by phone or by email.

All participants will have to pay the taxi drivers directly. Taxis should cost between 1,500-2,500 Kenyan shillings (approx. US$15-25), depending on the time of day you arrive. We recommend that you confirm the price with the company when booking.

Food and drink
Breakfast is included in your hotel booking if you stay at the KCB Center. Most other hotels in Nairobi will also include breakfast; please check when making your booking.
Lunch and snacks will be provided during the day. Please let us know if you have any special dietary requirements.

What to bring
Please bear in mind that it is quite cold in Nairobi at this time of year, so we recommend bringing some warm clothes. You can get weather updates here: meteo.go.ke/

If you need an invitation letter to obtain a visa for Kenya, the Kenya Red Cross Society can provide this. Please contact us at h.wessel@drk.de
