Anticipation Hub
The Anticipation Hub is a platform to facilitate knowledge exchange, learning, guidance and advocacy around anticipatory action, both virtually and in person. It brings together partners from across the Red Cross Red Crescent Movement, universities, research institutes, NGOs and international NGOs, UN agencies, governments, donors and network initiatives. It is hosted by the German Red Cross in cooperation with the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies (IFRC) and the Red Cross Red Crescent Climate Centre, with funding support from Germany's Federal Foreign Office.

The Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) is a specialized agency of the United Nations that leads international efforts to defeat hunger. Its goal is to achieve food security for all and make sure that people have regular access to enough high-quality food to lead active, healthy lives. With 195 members - 194 countries and the European Union - FAO works in over 130 countries worldwide.

ICPAC
The IGAD Climate Prediction and Applications Centre (ICPAC) is a specialized institution of the Intergovernmental Authority on Development (IGAD). It is a climate centre accredited by the World Meteorological Organization that provides climate services to 11 East African countries. Its services aim to create resilience in a region deeply affected by climate change and extreme weather.

The Southern African Development Community (SADC) aims to achieve economic development, peace and security, and growth; alleviate poverty; enhance the standard and quality of life of the peoples of Southern Africa; and support the socially disadvantaged. These objectives are to be achieved through increased regional integration, built on democratic principles, and equitable and sustainable development.

Start Network
Start Network is made up of more than 80 non-governmental organisations across five continents, ranging from large international organisations to local and national NGOs. Through locally led action, innovation, and early and rapid financing, we aim to create a new era of humanitarian action, with a financing system that focuses on reducing risk and on anticipating and acting ahead of predictable crises. Our programmes allow members to deliver humanitarian action around the world, financing for anticipatory and early actions through the Start Fund, Start Ready, and Africa Risk Capacity Replica.

The German Federal Foreign Office (Auswärtiges Amt) is the foreign ministry of the Federal Republic of Germany. It has been an active supporter of anticipatory action for many years and provides financial support to the Anticipation Hub and to the Global and Regional Dialogue Platforms on Anticipatory Humanitarian Action.

European Union Humanitarian Aid
The Directorate-General for European Civil Protection and Humanitarian Aid Operations (DG ECHO) is the European Commission's department for overseas humanitarian aid and for civil protection. It aims to save and preserve life, prevent and alleviate human suffering, and safeguard the integrity and dignity of populations affected by natural disasters and man-made crises.Together with its Member States, DG ECHO is a leading humanitarian donor, allocating funding to millions of crisis-affected people in more than 80 countries, including through support for anticipatory action initiatives.
